Burkina Faso
28 March 2024: In Goubre village, Senguenega department, Yatenga province, a woman and a girl were injured when JNIM militants fired shots at an IDP camp. After the incident, Burkinabe forces arrested eight civilians suspected of being JNIM militants. **Source: **ACLED^1^

11 March 2024: In Ibtenki Refugee Camp, Eastern Chad, a Sudanese child was killed following gunfire during violent clashes within the camp. Another refugee sustained injuries from strayed bullets. **Source: **Radio Dabanga

07 March 2024: In Kayembe Refugee Camp, Nyiragongo territory, North Kivu province, a 12-year-old girl was raped by a suspected military officer. The victim was taken to a local health facility whilst the perpetrator escaped. **Source: **La Prunelle

Nigeria
03 March 2024: In Gamborun town, Ngala LGA, Borno state, 319 IDPs, mostly women and children aged between 12 and 14, left the International Secondary School Camp at dawn in search of firewood in Garal village, where they were ambushed and kidnapped by two armed perpetrator, who forcibly took them to Wulge village. 07 March 2024: In Abu Shouk IDP Camp, El Fasher city, North Darfur state, four people were killed and 16 injured by artillery shells fired during fighting between the RSF and SAF. **Source: **Dabanga Sudan

10 March 2024: In Abu Shouk IDP Camp, El Fasher city, North Darfur state, four people were killed and four children injured when shells landed on Salam Khamsa School and nearby houses during clashes between the RSF and SAF. Two houses were destroyed. **Source: ****Dabanga Sudan **

18 March 2024: In Abu Shouk Camp, El Fasher city, North Darfur state, three IDPs were injured, and homes and buildings of the state Ministry of Animal Resources damaged by shelling during fighting between the RAF and SAF. A shell also landed in the camp’s Naivasha Market. **Source: **Radio Dabanga

As reported on 20 March 2024: In Abuja Camp/El Salam Camp, near El Fasher city, North Darfur state, fighting took place between the RSF and SAF. **Source: **Radio Dabanga

27 March 2024: At a food distribution area, Ronga Tas IDP Camp, Azum locality, Central Darfur state, armed men from Arab tribes, RSF, confiscated food aid, including millet and biscuits for children, from three trucks delivered jointly by WFP and Islamic Relief Worldwide. Soldiers threatened and fired warning shots to prevent IDPs from accessing the food. The RSF distributed some of the aid to its affiliates in the neighbouring Sharq Alneel IDP Camp, controlled by an RSF Brigadier.
